Family Ties

D knows all;

My oldest... He has showed me that I can keep house plants alive (actually I still can’t, I have tried unsuccessfully) and sometimes I second guess teaching him to talk, but I love him still.

D is a natural comedian, and a show off. He is a self proclaimed army game expert, as well as a war buff!! AT 10!?!?He wears his heart on his sleeve and is the righter of all wrongs. Stands up for what he believes in and for those he cares about, and can have his feelings hurt so easily, but I always know if they day has been rough or trying he will do whatever he can to cheer me and make me smile (he has a knack for that).

 He is in the process of declaring his independence, despite his mothers reluctance to let go of that black haired, blue eyed baby boy he once was.

K the Spirited

My middle child … He is without a doubt the child that broke the mold, and the boy who taught me that kids aren’t as breakable as I thought, and sometimes they bounce. I have never seen a child that when riding a bike spends more time on the ground. Everything he does is done with every ounce of passion, spirit and energy he possesses. He is a dinosaur expert (when I say expert I MEAN expert). If there is anything you don’t know about dinosaurs ask him and he will tell you all about it. He is and always will be “momma’s boy”.
K is a very spirited child, he sometimes gets lost in the world inside his head, and always marches to the beat of his very own drum. He can do the most realistic T Rex rawr that you will ever hear, but be warned, listening to him might make your throat hurt.

M  the # 3 Boss

M is the baby of the family and aside from me and one of our hamster’s that was creatively dubbed Venus, she is the only girl, and if you ask her she WILL tell you, she is the # 3 Boss (but only b/c I am # 1)
She is the poster princess for “spoiled” “cute” “princess”. She will tell you she is a princess but don’t let her fool you she is as tom boy as they come, and rightly so. She would wear a dress everyday all day but is always covered in dirt after 5 minutes outside. She can be found in the middle of a dog pile of her brothers and cousins. She loves bugs, yes you read that right BUGS, which earned her the nic name of ... you guessed it Bug. She is also frequently called Georg, due to being named after my great grand father and my step father (her pappy). She is a mini me and I love it!

Rocks the fat cat

Rocks has been with us since D was 1 1/2, I rescued him when I worked at a vet clinic. Rocks was brought in by his owner because being a curious and fearless kitten he had some how gotten his paw caught in a window, requiring sutures. Sadly his owner never came back for him, and for the love of me I could never figure out why. From the first day he was in the clinic, when I would open his kennel to feed & water him, clean it, get him for treatment; he would walk up to me place his front paws on my chest and kiss my nose. It was love at first sight if ever possible. So when the veterinarian said he would have to put him to sleep because he had not been picked up in 6 months and we didn't have room for him, there was only one option. You're right, I brought him home, and he has been the best cat I have ever ran across, his bond with the kids is unbreakable, and so is his love for powdered donuts (which I refuse to buy since they won't stop sharing with him)

Mr. Moose

Moose is our 7 month old tri color Australian Shepherd, we got Moose for Christmas, because I thought we were ready for a dog. WELL.... maybe I wasn't as ready as I had thought. Moose is an excellent dog, but I have to stay on my toes to keep ahead of his puppy antics. He is so smart and a very good problem solver, when he came home it took him 2 days to learn to ring a bell that hung from the door to go outside. We engineered a gate to cover the enormous door way from our living room to dining room and he figured out a way to climb it every time I changed it. He is starting to come into his own and has become my closest confidant.
